Obama Conservatives
Whether you want to call them Obama Republicans, Obamacans or Obamacons, they are making themselves known. For all inclusive purposes, I’ll be calling them Obama Conservatives. This term appropriately captures the so called “true” conservatives who have libertarian ideals.
Anyways, the Obama Conservatives are making themselves known lately in the news. With the election campaigns winding down, newspapers and prominent individuals are making their picks public. Sure, The New York Times chose Obama. And so did The Washington Post, but that was expected. But the expected shocker was Colin Powell finally endorsing Barack. And he was the biggest and respected name out there on the right to do so. Who else lent their support for Barack? Well let’s take a roll call:
